Paco Aguilar remembers the day in 1997 that he got the acceptance letter for Bryn Mawr’s Postbaccalaureate Premedical program. 他当时正坐在纽约市的一辆出租车里，准备飞往机场回家看他的家人.

“The beauty of medicine and public health is that you can help an individual in such a direct and meaningful way but at the same time have the analytical capacity to understand the needs of a population,” Tait said.
泰特最终希望回到巴西，在医院工作, providing anesthesia care for children in low resource settings and helping to teach and train other medical care providers.
